I have come across a very special journal: the one that we had to keep in my ESL class. This is just six months after I moved to United States, obviously still struggling with the language a lot.

"No wheels!
This summer I wanted to walk a lot in Los Angeles county. But I accomplished that partly. I had great plans: to go to LA downtown by feet, to rich (!) the Magic Mountain by feet, etc. But instead of that the most long trip I made was walking to Glendale and back...
I was writing about this just because I couldn't remember what I realy wanted to do but didn't (or didn't want but did). It's amazing but I realy did all major things that I wanted to do this summer!"

lol, i guess walking wasn't the major thing to accomplish after all.
i wish i kept my old essays and such.
they are always fun =))
i am hoping some of my ancient pre-US ones have been preserved by my sister in Yerevan | |
